Britain, Milk Tea
Black tea is preferred especially in Britain, which is engraved in our memories
as the British "5 O'Clock Tea". However, milk is always served with tea. Tea,
which turns caramel in color when milk is added, reaches its most delicious
form for the British. Small sweet snacks are always served on the side.
Japan, Matcha Tea
Matcha tea is one of the teas that we are accustomed to hearing about in
Türkiye in recent years. Matcha tea, which belongs to Japanese culture, is a
green colored, very beneficial tea. Like other teas we know, it is obtained by
harvesting the green-leafed camellia sinensis plant. However, it differs from
other teas in the way it is grown and harvested. Matcha tea, which combines
bitter and sweet flavors, is consumed with pleasure by the Japanese.
India, Masala Tea
Masala tea, one of the popular teas of Indian culture, appears as a very spicy
tea that reflects their culture. Masala tea is made by adding buffalo milk,
special herb and spice mixtures to black tea. Spices such as cinnamon,
cardamom, ginger and black pepper are usually added to masala tea.
Sweetener can also be added to masala tea if desired.
Taiwan, Bubble Tea
Did you know that "Bubble Tea", which was once a trend in the world and
is called bubble tea or pearl tea due to the shape of the tapioca pearls it
contains, originates from Taiwan? Bubble tea, one of Taiwan's traditional
drinks, contains sugar syrup, milk, tapioca pearls and tropical fruits. If you
are looking for different tastes; you can try pearl tea, which can be consumed
both hot and cold.
