go to places that serve good
food, and follow everything
written about Turkish cuisine
and food culture.
MDo you have a story that
happened to you during
your career that you
cannot forget?
We, four brothers, founded
one of the largest restaurant
chains in Türkiye. We
opened dozens of large-
scale restaurant chains,
developed and grew.
However, as brothers, we
had disagreements; leaving
behind a history of almost
20 years, I left the company
of which I was a partner
overnight. That night was
the breaking point of my life.
The next morning I started
life over again, from scratch.
I had to have a new brand of
my own, and the name of my
brand should be Ramazan
Bingöl... Everyone I consulted
was against this "Ramazan
Bingöl" brand name idea.
There were also significant,
professional names among
those who opposed it, they
said no. They found this idea
very brave and dreamy. My
wife was the only one who
supported me in this regard.
Finally, I decided to name
my brand "Ramazan Bingöl".
I have no regrets about my
brand name choice, it is one
of the best decisions I have
made in my life.

What would you like to
say about Turkish cuisine,
which is full of the riches of
history?
Türkiye is a country located
in the 'Fertile Crescent'
basin. Its abundance and
hosting many civilizations
over the centuries have led
to an enormous amount
of knowledge. The people
of these lands have both
a significant amount of
knowledge and a priceless
culture. You cannot find
anywhere else in the world,
the pleasure of the palate
that Turkish cuisine creates.
Of course, it is our duty to
introduce to the world a
cuisine with such magnificent
flavors and gastronomic
background. We are
making serious efforts for
promotional activities under
the leadership of our Ministry
of Culture and Tourism, and
I am very proud to be a part
of these efforts. I am also
a member of the Board of
Directors of Türkiye Tourism
Promotion and Development
Agency. As "TÜRES", we are
making very serious efforts to
introduce Türkiye's values to

I'm not saying it's because
I was born in Şanlıurfa, but
cooking and eating Şanlıurfa
cuisine, and even watching
someone else cook it, has
always given me pleasure.
We know that you are
interested in Turkish
cuisine, but are you also
interested in world cuisine?
I have visited about 50
countries in the world. I am
one of those who believe
that a job should be done
qualifiedly and properly.
Regarding world cuisine; I
do not refrain from tasting
and experimenting while
complying with our religious
dietary restrictions. For
example, my family and I
have sushi days at certain
times. The whole family
gathers and we go to eat
sushi. But to tell the truth;
Turkish cuisine is more
delicious than world cuisine.
